Casa Cabritos is a detached barn conversion set in 4000 square meters (about 1.25 acres) of freehold land. There are 4 terraces all having olive trees, 3 of which have various fruit trees overlooking the valley and is approximately 150 meters from the centre of the village of Hinojares. There are no immediate neighbours so it is nice and peaceful.

The barn was fully renovated to an extremely high standard 11 years ago by local professional builders and tradesmen. Therefore all items such as windows, woodwork, electrics, plumbing, toilets, baths etc are no more than 9 years old.

There are no service charges just the normal local taxes to the ayuntamiento (town hall) 36.00Euros annually.


The house which is a spacious, opulent area for our family to live in has also been designed so it can be easily converted into 3 apartments with communal rooms to allow for bed and breakfast rentals if so required.

It would also make a fantastic holiday home away from the stress and high speed life style of modern living in the UK and could be rented out as a holiday let when not in use. Local people would be able to look after the house and gardens etc as the infrastructure is all in place in the village.

There is a real market for teaching English here as a second language to the local Spanish and it would not be difficult to easily earn a decent wage teaching from the house for just a few hours a week at your convenience. For example, only teaching 4 days a week for 16 hrs will achieve 1,264 Euros per month. However there are lots of opportunities to easily expand on this. Clare has just secured a short term contract with the Town Hall for teaching English. She will be teaching twice a week for an hour and a half for 3 months. For this she will earn 1,500 Euros.
